  tea bags -- regular size

  simple sugar syrup -- see recipe

  cold water

In a saucepan add tea bags to boiling water. Boil for one minute and remove from heat.

Cover and steep for 10 minutes.

Discard the tea bags.

Add sugar syrup and mix thoroughly.

Pour tea into a large pitcher and add cold water.

Serve over ice.
