  simple sugar syrup -- see recipe

  bourbon

  crushed ice

Chill the cup for the drink.

Add simple syrup and mint leaves to chilled cup. Press the leaves against the side of the glass.

Fill the cup with crushed ice and pour bourbon over it.

You can decorate with another sprig of mint.
