Creole Green Beans

Boil green beans for 3 to 4 minutes or until crisp-tender. Plunge in ice water to stop cooking. Fry bacon in large frying pan until crisp. Remove bacon to paper towel to drain. Pour off all but 1 tablespoon of fat. Add onion to bacon fat and cook until softened. Add tomatoes, green beans, basil, Worcestershire sauce, and Cajun seasoning to onions. Cook until heated through and green beans are spotty browned. Makes 4 servings. |
