Grilled or Broiled Shrimp with Garlic Butter Sauce

  shrimp -- peeled and deveined

  kosher salt

  sugar

  garlic butter sauce -- see recipe

Shell and devein the shrimp. Mix with salt and sugar and let sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.

Heat a grill to hot or preheat the broiler.

Thread the shrimp onto skewers and place over coals 5 to 6 minutes total or broil 4 inches from element for the same time.

Service with Garlic Butter Sauce
