Green Beans with Mushrooms

 green beans -- trimmed and sliced

 mushroom caps -- sliced

Add green beans to boiling water and cook until crisp-tender 3 to 4 minutes. Plunge beans in ice water to stop cooking.

Melt butter in frying pan and add onion and mushrooms. Cook until onion softens and mushrooms have browned.

Add green beans to mushroom mixture along with basil. Heat through.
