Basic Cheese Sauce

  low sodium cheddar cheese -- shredded

Melt butter in saucepan. Add flour and stir until toasted.

Add salt, pepper, paprika, and milk. Cook over low stirring constantly until thickened and smooth.

Add cheese a little at a time until melted and sauce is smooth.
