Heat oil in small saucepan. Add shallots and garlic and cook until tender. Add cayenne pepper, salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper. Cook for 30 seconds. Add remaining ingredients and cook until bubbling. Reduce heat and cook for 15 minutes to blend flavors. Makes 2 cups. |
