Vanilla Buttercream Frosting

3   cups   confectioner's sugar -- sifted
1   cup   unsalted butter -- softened
2   teaspoons   vanilla extract
2   tablespoons   2% low-fat milk
In a standing mixer with a whisk mix together sugar and butter on low speed until well blended.

Increase speed to medium and beat for 3 minutes.

Add vanilla and milk and beat on medium for another minute.
