Teriyaki Chicken Wings

 chicken wings -- cut into 3 pieces

 low sodium soy sauce

 sherry

 vegetable oil

 garlic -- minced

 ginger root -- minced

 brown sugar

 teaspoon

 five-spice powder


Mix all ingredients except chicken wings together in a glass bowl.

Add chicken wings a stir to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour.

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Place chicken wings on a rack over a foil covered pan. Discard marinade.

Cook for at least an hour or until the chicken is cooked through and the glaze is evenly browned.
