Southern Corn Sticks

 unsalted butter -- melted

 egg -- lightly beaten

 vegetable oil spray


Heat oven to 425F. 

Spray pan with vegetable oil spray and heat pan in oven for 5 to 10 minutes.

Mix dry ingredients together in medium size bowl.

Add milk to dry ingredients and stir to lightly mix.

Add the butter.

Slightly beat egg and add to batter and stir to combine.

Remove pan from oven and fill to top.

Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly brown on top.

Notes: You can use 1 cup water and four tablespoons buttermilk powder.
