Shrimp Scampi

  olive oil

  lemon juice

  white wine

  linguine

  black pepper

Make linguine according to directions. Drain. 

Melt butter with the olive oil. Add shallots and cook until softened and turning translucent about 4 minutes.

Salt, pepper, basil, oregano and thyme along with the garlic. Cook one minute or until fragrant.

Add shrimp to pan and cook 2 to 3 minutes or until pink. Remove from pan.

Add lemon juice and wine to pan and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat and add shrimp back until heated through. Serve over linguine.

Notes: You can use your favorite white wine but use something that you would actually drink.
