Make linguine according to directions. Drain. Melt butter with the olive oil. Add shallots and cook until softened and turning translucent about 4 minutes. Salt, pepper, basil, oregano and thyme along with the garlic. Cook one minute or until fragrant. Add shrimp to pan and cook 2 to 3 minutes or until pink. Remove from pan. Add lemon juice and wine to pan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and add shrimp back until heated through. Serve over linguine. Notes: You can use your favorite white wine but use something that you would actually drink. Makes 6 servings. |
