Heat milk to boiling. Add rice and cover and move off heat for 5 minutes. Melt butter in frying pan. Add brown sugar and mix until sugar dissolves. Add sliced bananas to butter mixture and cook on medium for 5 to 10 minutes or until soft. Add maple syrup, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, bananas and their syrup to rice mixture. Mix well. Makes 4 servings |
