  no salt added tomato paste

Soak panko in red wine for a couple of minutes until softened. Add remaining ingredients except beef and mix well.

Add beef to mixture and with hands gently working the flavorings in being careful not to over handle the beef which would make it tough.

Form into four large patties and grill, fry, or broil to preferred doneness.
