Italian Barbecue Pork Chops

  pork center loin chops -- trimmed of fat and 1/2 inch thick

  no salt added tomato sauce

  roasted red pepper -- diced

  onion -- diced fine

  garlic -- minced fine

  balsamic vinegar

  molasses

  low sodium Worcestershire sauce

  ground black pepper

In a small saucepan heat everything except the pork chops to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.

Place meat on broiler rack and broil 3 to 4 inches from heat for 5 minutes.

Turn and broil chops for another 5 minutes.

Turn chops again and spoon sauce over them and broil for 3 to 5 minutes more or until chops are no longer pink.
