Ginger Steak

 brown sugar -- packed

 low sodium soy sauce

 ginger root -- minced fine

 garlic -- minced fine

 vegetable oil

 sherry

 crushed red pepper flakes

Mix everything except steak together completely. 

Put steak in large zippered bag. Pour marinade over it. Make sure steak is completely covered in marinade.

Place steak in refrigerator and turn bag every hour and marinate for at least two hours or up to four hours.

Drain steak and toss marinade. Broil until desired doneness.

Slice against the grain.
