Heat oven to 350°F. Soak cherries in wine and set aside. Beat butter, sugar, brown sugar, and extract until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and beating until thoroughly mixed each time. Add salt, baking soda, cocoa powder, and flour and beat until mixed. Drain cherries and add along with chocolate chips until mixed well. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets and bake 8-9 Minutes. Cool on a wire rack. Makes 72 Cookies |
