French Peas with Lettuce

Melt butter is large sauce pan. Add onions and cook until starting to brown. Add stock, sugar, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil. Add peas and lettuce and reduce heat to simmer. Cover and cook 10 minutes for fresh vegetables and 5 minutes for frozen. Makes 6 servings. |
