Heat oven to 425F.

In large bowl mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar and currants.

In another bowl mix butter, sour cream, and egg.

Add wet ingredients to dry and mix well.

Turn dough onto floured board and knead lightly.

Shape dough into 9 inch round and cut into six equal wedges. Place on greased baking sheet.

Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until browned.
