  molasses

  walnuts -- diced

  vegetable cooking spray

  2% milk


Heat oven to 350°F.

Soak dates in boiling water until plumped. Drain and set aside to cool.

Mix butter, molasses, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Mix in egg and vanilla.

Mix dry ingredients together. Add dry ingredients to wet just until blended.

Mix in nuts and dates.

Spray a 9x5 inch loaf pan. Spread mixture into pan.

Bake for 65 minutes or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.

Notes: Use your favorite nuts.
