Classic Waldorf Salad

  walnuts -- toasted and sliced

  fresh lemon juice

  ginger root -- minced fine

 low fat mayonnaise

  honey

Lightly toast walnuts is small dry skillet until toasted. Be careful they can go from toasted to burned in minutes.

Mix lemon juice, ginger, and honey with mayonnaise.

Mix apples, celery, raisins, cherries, and walnuts together in bowl.

Add dressing and mix. Refrigerate.

Makes 6 servings.
