Heat oven to 350°F. Beat butter, sugars, and vanilla extract until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating until thoroughly mixed each time. Add salt, cocoa powder, baking soda and flour. Beat until mixed. Add chocolate chips and nuts and mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet and bake 9 to 11 minutes. Cool on wire rack. Makes 48 cookies. |
