Heat oven to 350°F. Cream together the butter and both sugars. Add vanilla and egg and mix well. Add flour, baking soda, and salt and mix well. Add chocolate and nuts. Roll into 1 inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. NOTES : You can use pecans or other nuts or leave them out. Makes 64 servings |
