cheddar cheese, shredded

Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a small pan. Add shallots. Cook until golden and caramelized.

Roll dough into a 9"x12" inch rectangle. Spread with the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter which has been melted. 

Spread the shallots evenly over the bread. Sprinkle the cheese on top in an even layer.

Roll bread up from short end and place in bread pan that has been sprayed with vegetable spray.

Let rise until doubled.

Bake in a 350°F oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pan and let cool on a wire rack.
