Mix shortening, sugar, and eggs together until light and fluffy. Add in flour, salt, and baking soda. Mix well. Add nuts. Shape into two rolls 2 inches across. Chill until firm. Heat oven to 400°F. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes 72 servings |
