Caramelized Onion Dip

Heat olive oil in a skillet. Add shallots and green onions and cook stirring frequently until caramelized about 20 minutes. Cool. Mix cooled onions, balsamic vinegar, garlic salt and pepper together until well blended. Refrigerate for at least two hours or overnight to meld the flavors together. Servings: 16 |
