Heat oven to 350°F. Core apples to hollow out middle but don't go all the way through. Mix brown sugar, walnuts, raisins, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves together. Divide raisin mixture between apples. Place apples in a dish that will hold them upright. Place a pat of butter on top of each apple. Drizzle maple syrup over the apples. Bake for 50 minutes. Makes 6 servings |
